Food was good. We had the clam chowder and the potato chips but got sick quickly there after. Such a shame since the chowder was great.

There are only a few things on the menu marked gluten free like the red and white clam chowders and salads (but no gluten free dressings). However, they can do most of the charbroiled seafood gluten free. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here and certainly wouldn't have risked it if I had celiac.
Update: they now have a dedicated fryer for potato and tortilla chips.
My family really wanted to try this place out, so I called ahead and talked to Tex. When we arrived he brought our table some home made potato chips. When he realized I was the one who called ahead for gluten free food, he popped back in the kitchen and fried me my own batch of gf potato chips. He was very knowledgeable about which items could be made gf. I ordered the ceviche, and once again he went out of his way to fry me a gf batch of tortilla chips. I thanked him for his effort, and he told me he was able to do it because they weren't very busy at the time. So I recommend going there between lunch and dinner for attentive gf service. I had no reaction to the food.

I love seafood, and fell in love w this place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The chowder is GF. I got the seafood platter of shrimp, octopus, clams on a bed of lettuce and it was very safe from CC since it was all boiled and dressed only in olive oil. So tasty!
