They know about cross contamination and glove changes. If i went again I’d get a burger and not the lettuce wrap. I watched as she pulled the lettuce out. Set it on the counter pulled the pieces off and returned it to the bucket.
I watched the rest of the process which was good. So with out the lettuce I’m sure i would have been fine.
they do not have gluten-free buns but their burgers are so good you don't even need it get your Burger wrapped in lettuce and it's absolutely delicious the fries are gluten free
very conscientious of cross contamination. cleaned surfaces changed gloves separately bagged. thank you!

First time at a Five Guys since Celiac diagnosis. Supervisor double checked with me that I had an "allergy" and then talked the trainee making my order through changing his gloves and prepping my hot dog away from area with buns. And the fries are delicious :)

Everything is Gluten Free except the buns.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
