Five Guys

They were so careful when preparing my burger and french fries. They do not have gluten free buns. The fries are safe to eat. I order a burger without a bun and bring in my own bun.

I asked them about this “wheat oil” from another review. And like all the other five guys, they use Peanut Oil and they confirmed the only thing with gluten are the buns.

These guys are awesome! They made double sure that my food was safe for me to eat. I got a lettuce wrapped bacon Cheeseburger and it was amazing! Well done!

I let them know about being celiac, and they cleaned off counter, changed gloves and made me a great burger.

Good food. The only thing not gf is the buns. But they're awesome! And nobody fusses if you want no bun. They have fun making the order.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it. I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.

If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.

The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
