Recommend but with caution. Everything is GF except the buns; wish they would offer some. Tell them you have a 'gluten allergy' when you order. They alert the kitchen & change gloves. Dedicated fryer for generous order of fries, but they’re pretty greasy & salty. Glutenous buns are grilled in a separate space. Open kitchen allows you to watch preparations. Order burgers in bowl or as lettuce wrap or BYO bun. Very good! I like the cheeseburger lettuce wrap in a bowl with grilled onions and mushrooms - it’s a bit messy. Staff was very nice! Definitely watch them make it, though. I've had to send an order back once after they touched buns with their clean new gloves then touched my food. I was glutened once in spite of watching, but that was the only time.

I watched the cooks clean the entire grill top and prepare my burger on a separate area than in which the buns were toasted. Fryers are not used for anything but GF fries.
Very good burger and Cajun fries. Just get without the bun!

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
