NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY. Had cheeseburger no bun and fries. While very good - I was Doubled over after 20 minutes of eating. Cross contamination?! Be careful. The person taking my order seemed confused about Celiac and gluten free.
No
Five Guys fries are DEFINITELY gluten free, the only thing in the place that's fried is the fries!! One of GF life's pleasures are Five Guys fries
The burger in the lettuce wrap was delicious but when I asked the staff person if the fries were gluten free; i.e. In a dedicated fryer, he looked surprised and then said "sure". So I threw them out.
Manager was amazing! Food was perfect!! I had a lettuce wrap cheese burger all the way and fries! I've never had a reaction!! 💜💜💜💜💜
Slightly confused but totally game staff gave me my burger on big leaves of lettuce, and my son's on a (still partially frozen) Udi's bun we'd just purchased down the road at Target. They warmed his bun on foil! Yay 5 Guys!
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
