This place is NOT safe!!! The fries are not even safe! They say that they keep people on one station so they don’t cross contaminate and I watched them and that is not true. I stressed very clearly before ordering that I have celiac and it made no difference. WOULD NOT suggest going here!!!

My go to place when I want a burger and fries. The only thing gluten in this place are their buns. Easy to avoid if you order the burger in a bowl.

Not Celiac friendly. Had no clue what I was talking about when I asked for gluten free. Only option was to get a lettuce wrap.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
