Have eaten here numerous times. I always get the lettuce wrapped burger. My son just orders the hamburger patties with cheese melted on top and they serve it in a small metal pan. Fries are fried in peanut oil separately. Have never gotten sick here.

Great service. Understood my requests for handling my food. Had burger in lettuce wrap and fries. Delicious!
Yes
My husband and I walked into this location and I asked the order taker about a gluten free burger, getting ready to ask what precautions they took. She gave me that "deer in the headlights " look and said, "Uh, we don't have those but we do have a vegan burger!" The voice of experience told me they had NO IDEA of what I was talking about so we left more quickly than we went in. The other two reviewers must have had a better experience than I did! Sure won't go back to the North Myrtle Beach location. Can't risk it!!!
Dedicated fryer for fries, lettuce wrap for burgers. Aware of celiac precautions
Yes
They make the burgers in a separate container and the fries are safe to eat without any reaction.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
