Wish they had gluten free buns, but the fries are delicious and safe, and the burgers are great on a lettuce wrap. They seemTo always change gloves for my order, and take allergy precautions.
5 guys is all about advocacy. They can do it totally right and I’ve never gotten sick there but you need to make sure the folks listen to you, separate your food in a bag if you are eating with other folks. Milkshakes are not GF.

Never had an issue. I get the burger on the lettuce. Surprisingly delicious.

No GF buns, but you can get a lettuce wrap and the fries are totally safe. We have eaten here several times in east and west coasts and have not gotten sick at all.

Not sure about this place. Food was ok but did not sit well at all. Not sure if it was my body not being used to fried food (french fries) or if it was something else. There are much better gf burger and fries places nearby.
Yes
Now becoming a regular because the food is good, the staff are very knowledgeable and considerate. No bun but everything else is gf and tasty.
I found the staff very attentive to avoid cross contamination. Yes there is no gf bun but double patty is delicious as are the fries. It is a nice option for a quick bite.
A burger without a GF bun is just a patty of meat. That DOES not mean you have GF burgers. Stop advertising you're GF unless we can eat a burger.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
