Ordered a lettuce wrapped burger with bacon, Cajun fries a chocolate milkshake and a strawberry milkshake.
In the past we have not had issues.... But we were glutened this time. Don't take the chance.

When I went there I asked if there was a protocol for gluten free for a celiac and he had all the right answers. I say him getting buns ready and using the same gloves to touch the fries then touching the inside of my bad that my food was going into. I mentioned that I didn’t feel comfortable eating it and the employee got angry and argued with me so I didn’t want any of my food. This may be a one time occurrence but I wouldn’t risk it.

Knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. Gluten free fries. Burger is still very good wrapped in lettuce

5 Guys does and excellent job on Gluten Free. I request my burger in a lettuce leave wrap, and enjoy the burgers immensely.

Delicious! The kids love that they can have fries! They put the burger in a bowl or wrapped in lettuce. They change gloves and prepare in a separate area.
Good service and food. For allergies, their policy is to change gloves.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
