I will get a burger in a bowl and fries and have never had any issues. I believe I asked about gluten free/celiac disease items awhile ago and they can do the glove change/grill wipe. They do a good job at keeping items separated regardless too.

Great option for fast food. The fries are Celiac friendly and the gluten-free was even bagged separately. Only thing, make sure to explain it as a wheat allergy. The server explained the precautions they were using. Very good experience.

This a great place to go when you want a nice greasy burger and fries. The staff are usually aware of gluten free needs and are careful to assemble your bunless burger to your specification.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it. I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.

If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.

The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
