They ask if it's an allergy, and change gloves if it is.
— Yes, the establishment is dedicated gluten-free
— Excellent
They change gloves and are extremely careful and helpful with ordering. I am new to celiac disease but very impressed with their procedures.
You can get the burger in a bowl and fries are gluten free as well as some shakes.

They changed their gloves and used a separate preparing area to make our food. The burgers weren't too greasy for most 5 guys and they even gave us extra fries! :)
This place is awesome! I told them no bun and added that I'm allergic and I need the prep folks to change their gloves before handling my food and they did everything as I asked. I have had no issues eating here or at the san destin location.
THIS location is not a good one for ordering GF :( they do not understand how to lettuce wrap a burger at all! The first time I had shredded lettuce sprinkled on both sides of the burger, the second time the whole thing was a sloppy mess. I have had great success at some of their other locations though, I really think it is just this one that has a problem.
Terrible service! Contaminated my food twice! I had to watch them make my burger. They have no clue what they are doing when it comes to gluten free preparation. It is a shame because the five guys in Atlanta are great and friendly about it. I would not risk my vacation by eating there.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
