My 6 year old with Celiac doesn’t LOVE lettuce wraps but Five Guys will put his burger and toppings in a bowl which is more kid friendly. They actually asked me if it was an allergy or preference and when I said allergy they notified all the staff and went above and beyond to make sure it was safe. His food came in a completely separate bag marked with an allergy sticker.
Yes
The staff was very knowledgeable about the disease and very careful. They said they get a lot of people there with Celiac’s. They knew what they were doing so I liked that. Honestly I was just so happy to find a place with Burger and fries lol. Have not gotten sick eating here.
Yes
Gluten free fries! Lettuce wrapped burgers! They will change their gloves for you. Just ask. Totally allergy friendly.
Bring your own bun and let them know you are GF and you are golden!

great fries and burgers. my go to for fast food burgers. no drive thru, but worth going in and waiting.

I've been to several locations and the staff has always known how to do it GF! The fries are GF naturally.
Brought my own bun to use (put on myself at the table). They were careful to prepare my cheeseburger. They also gave me new condiments (ketchup, bbq sauce) so I didn't have to worry about c.c. Only thing better would be if they had better cheese than american! :)
Mention that you are gluten free. They will have the staff change gloves.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
