I have historically always had luck with 5guys but have them change their gloves. I typically just get a bowl, but we can eat their fries. I am very sensitive to gluten. Kinda pricey but it’s food we can eat.

The fries are safe! Never had an issue with CC with the lettuce burger. They will take precautions if you alert them of your allergies.

UPDATE: I no longer recommend 5 guys. My son got horrible food poisoning from this location.
Always mention gluten allergy when ordering. Regular fries are GF. You can get your burger lettuce wrapped or on top of a salad. Ate here 10+ times and never had a reaction.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
