Manager didn't seem to know what celiac was. Therefore, I didn't feel like I had a productive conversation when asking about separate fryers/cooking surfaces. My daughter was able to eat the fries since they are the only thing prepared in the fryer. One employee told me there is a gluten free bun, but the manager said there isn't.

Dedicated fryer for the French fries, staff told me they would take extra precaution on my food and were very friendly!

I have been to this location at least a dozen times. I have had one visit with a bad reaction. I always order the same: bun less burger in bowl, fries, and vanilla shake. The staff is always willing to change gloves and take extra care when preparing my meal.

The taste is phenomenal. But this place is definitely not celiac-friendly. All the staff spoke broken English so I couldn't properly explain what I needed, and I got severely sick from gluten probably 10 minutes after finishing my meal. If you're thinking about trying this place as a celiac, don't!

Lettuce wrapped cheeseburger and delicious fries... staff were helpful and promised to take extra care of us.

The Legends location (KC,KS) for Five Guys did a great job keeping my meal gluten free! They were happy to make accommodations to keep my meal safe for this Celiac girl!! Thank you, thank you!!

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
