Excellent following of allergen protocols for gluten free food items. I love getting the lettuce wrap burgers and fries!

Pretty much everything is gluten-free except the buns/bread and certain shake mix-ins. Divided grill area with buns kept on one side and burgers on the other. I observed the cook changing gloves frequently without prompting from any customers. No gluten-free buns available but they will put the burger in a bowl and/or make a lettuce wrap.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it. I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.

If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.

The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
