No dedicated area, I had to all them to change their gloves before making my lettuce wrap and still got very Ill.
Love coming here! I get mine in a bowl because the wrap can get messy fast! But, never have had any problems! Always feel very safe when they scream to everyone that mine is an allergy!

Bring your own bun or get lettuce wrapped. They let everyone handling food know that the bunless burger was for someone with an allergy. I asked her to bag it separately which she did. Only other thing I would ask next time is to bag the fries separately from the burgers with buns when sharing fries with gluten eaters. Great burger and fries. No problem with taking direction from people concerned with gluten.

Got super sick but I think the employee contaminated me so I may try again one day
Eat here often and have never had a reaction. Lettuce burger and fries 😊

I had the fries here and when asked for gluten free the fries were promptly made, but I felt a bit sick afterwards. I don't usually feel sick after eating here as a Celiac.
I was very impressed that the cashier asked if they needed to change their gloves. They asked if I had an allergy or if I chose to just go bun-less. Very nice!
I had always loved 5 guys before I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and probably still would. However, the cheese they put on their burgers is American and is not gf. I ordered this and had someone deliver it only too later realize that I forgot thow ask about the cheese. SO the low rating is partially MY fault but I did tell the girl who took my order that I needed it to be gf. She seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. That isn't really shocking considering that most off the population doesn't know about GF but being that they were listed on this site I thought maybe the staff had been trained. If they are someone had an off day, which left me hungry and sorry I had taken the chance. I gave 3 stars because either the fries are awesome.
never had a problem here. they have some great fries!

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
