When you try to tell them you have celiac you get a stupid look, when you say you have a food allergy one girl actually offered me a napkin. I asked her what was it for and she said to blow my nose.

Everything is gluten free except the buns. They were very friendly. I brought in my own bun and they placed it in foil to avoid contamination. They grabbed new utensils and a new container of mayo. They changed their gloves. The employees were very nice and made my day. I am so happy that I can have my favorite cheat treat and not feel like I'm high maintenance while ordering. A+++. Great service.

Awesome service brought in a GF bun and they toasted it for me on foil to avoid contamination. Pulled out a separate jar of mayo and new utensils to spread. They knew exactly what to do and were very happy to accommodate. A++ rating. Love the service and I am glad I can still enjoy a great burger from my favorite place.

Fries were too salty. Bunless burger is a burger thrown in a tin, so not what I expected the burger could have been made in a lettuce wrap form the purpose of a burger is to est with your hands. If I wanted a salad I would have spent less money in Panera next door.

I wrote a great review but on the wrong location. Great staff and great service. Was our first time at a five guys and we will be back for sure. They have a lettuce wrapped burger or burger in a bowl for GF my girlfriend had a lettuce wrap and she loved it :) I had a bacon cheeseburger "all the way" I loved it!! Fries were great too. I felt like I needed to hit the gym afterwards but man it was good lol. They have an outside sitting area also staff even opens doors for you if they get the chance. It's a must try and they have free peanuts ;)

I ordered my burger without the bun and we all enjoyed the food. Locally, I asked and was told that I could bring my own gluten free bun and assemble it at the table. Years ago, I helped these guys understand gluten and how to properly handle our food. As a result, they trained their staff at their other stores (within the same franchise ownership) to respect the GF crowd's requests, and I have been able to remain gluten free while dining there. Due to some new faces showing up there, it was back to the drawing board in some respects to re-train, but they still understand and they still do a good job. It's better when they do a lettuce wedge and not a couple of soggy pieces of wimpy lettuce in place of the bun, which is what you sometimes get. Jackie is THE BEST at building a proper GF burger on the wedge!

They always put the cheese on meat, then add lettuce, tomato, & onion. That way most of the cheese isn't stuck to the foil. They will even bring your order to your table. Run much better than store near Tiffany Springs. Great food & competent, efficient, friendly, helpful staff!

Best fries EVER. Seriously. Fries are GF and the only things fried in the friers, so they are safe. The burgers are good. I always ask for a cheeseburger with no bun. The only problem is they wrap the burger, so the cheese can stick to the wrapper. But it's not a major issue. If you ask for extra lettuce that helps. When you order, tell them you have a gluten allergy and they audibly inform the rest of the team. They usually pack the gluten-free items separately from any regular orders, but be sure to ask that they do that if you are extra sensitive. Haven't tried the hit dogs yet, but they are safe as well.

I thought the burger I ordered was very tasty (cheese burger with fried onions and mushrooms). The burger was wrapped in foil with no plate, which made it a bit challenging to eat. They do have forks and knives to cut the burger, but you have to be careful not to cut through th foil. They did take precautions to avoid contamination. It appears that they cook the meat on one grill and toast the buns on another. The fries were great. So if you want a bun bring your own, and a small paper plate to prevent a mess.

Mixed reviews from store to store regarding GF. More often than not I spend time educating because the staff generally don't understand GF. Even though Celiac Disease is not an allergy, I seem to get farther stating I have a bun allergy. Don't order mayo from the food prep line, a spatula is used from a common container and is contaminated. They are very GF aware here. I go there weekly and they are very accommodating. Salt on fries is GF, but I was told the special salt is not, so I ask for the fries to go straight from fryer into the bag. Awesome fries!

This location in particular is awesome. They went so far as to get toppings out of a fresh container to avoid cross-contamination. For an even better burger, go across the street to Stuyvesant Plaza first...there is a natural store that sells gf bread and rolls. We bring them in with us so my hubby can build his burgers on them.

Tell them you are gluten free and they mark no bun and all toppings on the side on your order. Don't order a cheeseburger because they don't care that the foil sticks to the cheese without a bun. Asked for a plate to mix it all together like a salad and they couldn't accommodate. Ended up scraping cheese off foil, using foil as plate, and feeling humiliated all the while. Guess I'll stick to burgers off the grill at home to avoid this embarrassment and hassle.

Boo hiss! This location will NOT make lettuce wraps for burgers. No idea why, since I haven't had problems elsewhere. I asked on two separate occasions just to be sure. If you don't mind eating a patty in a foil wrapper, though, at least it's gf. And the fries! Not A+ fries, but pretty good. Also, it's nice, for once, to have something to munch on while you wait - peanuts - unless of course someone in your group is allergic!
