I always get my burger in a lettuce wrap. I love this chain and never have a gluten issue here but I always tell them I’m Celiac and they are more than happy to change out their gloves just in case.

Thank you so much for the dedicated GF fryer! We so appreciate it! We look forward to you adding a GF bun. Burger and fries made us happy and stayed healthy. Thank you!

The staff was very accommodating with my needs and immediately changed gloves, told the other workers, and took all the normal necessary precautions. The food was amazing and they got it done super quick!!

Consistently safe chain. Nothin’ but potatoes in the fryer.

Best five guys thus far, and most are pretty good. Changed gloves, separate person prepared. Was benefited by not being busy. Cleanest five guys I’ve seen.

We’ve never gotten sick here. They are more than happy to change gloves and are so pleasant

The staff was unaware of gluten but was very willing to share ingredients and packaging for me to review. They do not have gluten free buns.
The staff understood when I told them I needed my burger gluten free: they changed their gloves, worked on mine first, and placed it in a separate covered container to keep it safe. Also, their fries are fried in a dedicated fryer.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
