My favorite burger spot. They've never glutened me and I'm sensitive to cross contact.

I was there last June and got glutened by their fries 😕
As a celiac, I get a cheeseburger on a lettuce bun, and their fries. Staff always asks if I need special preparation with new gloves, etc which I find comforting. Have never been glutened after eating here.
Yes
The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about Celiac cooking and was able to provide a gluten-free burger & fries that tasted great and did not make anyone sick from cross-contamination. They wrapped the burger and toppings in a lettuce bun that was crispy, fresh, & tasty. The fries also had their own fryer so there was no concern there.
Yes
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
