I researched the allergy menu on-line and then ordered a burger lettuce wrap with tomato and pickles, small fries, water bottle. I informed them it was gluten free for an allergy. They did an amazing job and it was a safe, great meal! Just be sure to tell them it’s an allergy so they employ their allergy protocol.

I had never gone to 5 guys before I was diagnosed and boi was I missing out. I love their burgers and fries.
They have two options for GF burgers- either a bowl or a lettuce wrap.
Their kitchen is out in the open so you can see everything that they do, I was there with someone not GF who got grilled cheese and they literally put it on foil, on a different grill than my burger. They take allergies really seriously and even told me that they assume all online orders need allergy precautions (though I have yet to try that myself). They don’t leave room for error, an employee in training didn’t change gloves and put my lettuce wrap near a bun and the manager training him was immediately there, threw it away, changed gloves, and got a new one all while explaining why it was wrong. I have never once felt unsafe eating here and have honestly become a regular.
I’m celiac and I have never gotten sick from their food.
But heads up because everything is done in peanut oil and they have peanuts everywhere.

I went here the other day with my boyfriend and the staff was super friendly and cleaned the whole grill for my hotdog and offered to make me a bun out of lettuce. They seemed very knowledgeable on the subject.
The entire staff is always friendly and extremely accommodating when addressing or son's GF needs (celiacs disease). Not to mention the food and restaurant are always top notch. I would have given this particular one six stars if i could. Highly recommended!

Always good. Always gf.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
