They are very careful when I order the lettuce wrapped burger.

We have been to this location many times and feel very safe eating here. Three of my family members have Celiac and are very sensitive to any cross contact. We order burgers in lettuce wraps and fries. I always order as an “allergy” and they take it seriously.

I went here after shopping with a friend. The staff was very friendly, but seemed very confused when I asked about their gluten-free food. They did offer me a lettuce wrap after discussing what gluten was for awhile. But I did not feel safe eating here as a very sensitive celiac, so I did not order anything for myself.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
