I feel like with chains, safety is always location specific. They were really great here about noting the burger & fries for allergy. Food was good as always and the staff was super friendly.

This location has always taken good care of me...announcing to the workers that mine is an allergy order and changing gloves and keeping my order separate from the rest of my party.

I can't say enough good things about the allergy awareness of the staff. Most pleasantvdining experience I've ever had. Very knowledgeable of celiac and other food allergies/intolerance. Their cross contamination prevention was amazing, called out to other staff in communicating about taking care of the "allergy" order and never missed a beat in changing their gloves. And only non-breaded potatoe items "fries" are fried in their refined peanut oil.
Yes
The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac disease. One person was assigned to complete my whole meal as to not cross contaminate. My burger was kept far from buns and they even wrapped it in lettuce for me. My burger and fries were placed in their own bag. Not only was the staff extremely careful but they were so kind.

We didn’t like the food but I didn’t get sick! They were pretty knowledgeable on protocol to prevent cross contamination!

I've always loved Five Guys but since being gf I as concerned that I could not eat there. But my fears were unwarranted. They have bunless bowls. and they don't have chicken nuggets and such so the fries are safe to eat. This location is brand new and they were super friendly and accommodating. They made sure to change gloves and prepared mine separately. was so good!!!
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
