Have stopped here several times in the last few years and have always had a good experience. The staff we’ve interacted with have been knowledgeable and helpful. No GF buns or bread, but my son usually gets a hot dog by itself and the fries, and they’re good about putting it in a separate bag. Haven’t had any issues after eating and the food is always good

So, I was excited to try this place after reading the reviews here & accessing the menu in this app. It was not a great experience. While ordering, I only asked a few questions & the guy looked rudely at me and acted irritated that I even asked. He knew nothing and answered vaguely. I was unsure and so stepped out of the line to not hold it up. After letting everyone else go, I came back to the counter to order last. I’d never been to this chain before so I asked pretty basic questions about the menu items, which he treated me with the same disregard, but told me the fries were the only thing fried and they only had salt or the Cajun seasoning. Seeing down the cooking station at the crumbs EVERYWHERE, I errored on the side of causing and just order a fry with salt. My daughter got a regular burger and the guy knew by this point that I needed gluten free. Well the order was made and they threw it all in the same bag, literally shoveled together. They scooped fries into the bag right on top the burger. So there lay my fries over wrapping that’s been all over that crumby table. Not wanting to chance it, I just picked a few off the top of the pile that weren’t touching. The fries had some salt/sugar blend (despite what the guy told me) and I have no idea what I ate. So ya, the employees didn’t care, were rude, and now I have a stomach ache already starting. Oh and did I mention I paid $6 for those fries?! OUCH! I won’t be back. Please be careful.

The staff was knowledgeable, restaurant was clean and they had great communication about my daughter’s celiac disease. We told them she had a Gluten allergy and she has eaten successfully here twice now!
Yes
I’ve leaned to say “gluten free for an allergy” when I do it’s made with new gloves and by itself. Staff did a great job making it gf!
Yes
They took the necessary precautions to make sure my food was not cross-contaminated. I was so happy to finally be able to have French fries again!!!
Yes
Dedicated French fry fryer. No GF buns but had it served in a bowl separate from the rest of my families order. A huge plus is you can watch the people make the food and watch them change their gloves after touching other hamburger buns.
Yes
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
