Have had success in the past at other establishments but not in Danville! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE CELIAC! The staff and Manager do not understand about taking precautions with the food. After being told repeatedly to change their gloves they still would touch the bread from other burgers.

I come here often (maybe 3x per month) to this particular location in Denville and have never had any issues - always taste and safe
I order a bacon burger in a bowl and ask them to specifcally ask them to mark as an allergy. Never had any issues, and they are incredibly fast + location is super clean.

Don’t go here. Go to smashburger where they take better care of GF eaters. Smash has GF bun and more options.

delicous. the little things make me happy and when the people change gloves to avoid contamination, I get excited bc that means they understand. no stomach problems like I had with smashburger (avoid).
I agree with GFgirl, great place. I've been here a few times with no issues and I have Celiac Sprue. Great burgers and fries!
BEST gf fast food place EVER!!! They can change their gloves and wrap your burger in lettuce. It is delicious. Their fries are also gf as they are the only thing made in the fryer

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
