They are so good about changing their gloves and taking care of those with food allergies. The manager on duty told me that they have made it standard practice to change their gloves whenever someone orders a lettuce wrap or bowl out of an abundance of caution. As a celiac, I appreciate that more than anything. I feel I would be safe because of that statement to order online.

Fabulous service!!! I told them I had a “gluten allergy” (easier to explain than celiac) and he instantly assured me they’d change gloves and clean the surface. They have a dedicated fryer just for fries and the patty is GF. Didn’t get sick! Highly recommend.

Ask for a burger in a bowl or wrapped in lettuce. Tell them it's an allergy and they will change gloves and clean work surface.
Had no problems here, the staff was trained and made excellent food fast and we'll for me, changing everything as to prevent contamination!

When I asked for no bun, they offered a lettuce wrap and asked if it was for an allergy. I said yes and they alerted the kitchen staff. I got a cheeseburger and fries. I added onions and pickles. They have a good selection of toppings. I didn't get any sauces and didn't ask if the mayo was gluten free. They do have ketchup and A1 sauce.
Installs the cheese wasn't melted but was melting. Not sure if that was from the coolness of the crisp lettuce. But the cheese was all melted by my second bite. The lettuce was good; it held together through the whole burger. The burger was generous. It's a bit pricy. Back in California, a similar chain would charge $3 but it was about $6 here.
The fryer is dedicated to fries. They have no breaded or battered items. The fries were really good. My wife loves them as much as her all time favorite fries. Maybe I won't have to get her "drive through" in the future. They left the potato skins on the fries. And they were cut thicker. I really felt like I was eating potatoes.

Like all other Five Guys, you can easily get a delicious gluten-free burger without a bun as a lettuce wrap, or just with meat and your chosen toppings. Just share that you have an allergy and they will take extra care in preparation.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
