I live just down the road from Flying Apron & my celiac family is jealous for it, but I find the pastries and cakes from here are hit-or-miss. I love their scones and their other offerings that are purposefully dry, but things that are meant to be moist and rich, like cakes or cinnamon rolls, are way too dry for my taste, and lack a "rich" flavor. I've had better luck with Wildflour bakery in Bellevue, or Nuflours in Seattle for anything that needs to hold a crumb. As much as I appreciate a bakery serving GF food, I usually give this one a pass.

I went to this place and it was outstanding. We had the blueberry crumble, French toast donut, cinnamon bun, and one of the non GF people had the choc choc chip muffin and said it was the best moist muffin he ever had. I would give it five stars but we also had the blueberry scone and it was hard as a rock and awful. It was dense and not like the flakey scones I make at home.

I would go back in a heart beat. Their cupcakes looked amazing. If I go back I would have the blueberry crumble again. It was out of this world !

Loved this place! I was visiting from out of state and finding this gem was one of the highlights of my trip! The first day I went I had the lasagna which was soooo good! I also had a peanut butter and chocolate cupcake which was to die for! It was literally the best thing I have ever eaten, EVER! My experience was so great I went back the next day before my flight home but they no longer had a savory chef and there were no meal options... They also change their bakery options daily so there were no peanut butter and chocolate cupcakes! But I got a chocolate cupcake with lavender and coconut frosting which was good, just not as good as the other one! I wish they were more consistent, but the food and baked goods are delicious

When I couldn't find a decent GF whole grain bread at the grocery stores I tried Flying Apron. Their whole grain bread is so good; never buying store bought again.

I really wanted to give this place five stars. The staff was awesome. The banana chocolate chip walnut muffin was a trip to heaven and back. My best friend who is not gluten-free thought The pastries were amazing. My only qualm, is they say they are vegan so I felt comfortable getting a steamed coffee beverage. They do however have milk in the house and steam milk on the same steamer. I did not realize this until after I had my beverage. I don't care how clean they think it is that is still cross contamination and I wasn't happy about that. I let my guard down because they said it was vegan and had a bunch of signs up about not allowing outside food because of cross-contamination. If they got rid of the milk this place would be perfect. Having said that, I would definitely return for the baked goods.

I am dairy free and gluten free, so this place was heaven to me because they are vegan and gluten free. I tried four things: the cake of the day, a cinnamon roll, the salted chocolate chip cookie, and the best chocolate cupcake I have had in my entire life. I will definitely go back.

The cinnamon rolls were really good and the sugar cookies okay. I wish there was more variety in the donuts, as donuts are a very rare treat for me, a celiac. I am hesitant to rate this bakery as celiac-friendly, since the cakes all seemed to contain oat flour. I wish businesses that sold gluten-free food would keep the avenin-controversy in mind and not serve products with oats, especially since there are so many alternatives.

The best gluten free bakery on the Eastside. Great place to stop in for a baked food and coffee or tea. There aren't also homemade soups made daily as well as salads and some vegan dishes. They have a juice bar too.

SO excited to find this completely GF restaurant. I was over-the-moon excited to have a slice of almond raspberry vanilla frosting cake. All food is vegan and all four of us thought our choices were delicious.

I visit my mom here twice a year and always make a few trips to this wonderful bakery!!! The staff is always so nice and helpful. Their cookies are amazing and you can even have lunch. My favorite cookies are the ginger and peanut butter!!!! I wish they would open one in California.

Staff is hit and miss. Some seem very enthusiastic to answer questions and others barely give a smile and no greeting. If you want a juice be prepared for no kale (most options offer kale in them) and a long wait. Bakery items can be dry or too oily. The best item tried to date is the Morning Glory bar. All other items are mediocre.

Fresh baked goods daily and all gluten free! I was happy to find this place while traveling on business and craving something sweet. The cookie I had was delicious! It had peanuts and chocolate chips and nuts and it. I will go back to if I'm in Redmond, WA AGAIN to get another one!
