Flying Fish

This place has a cozy diner feel. Their tacos and salads are gluten free, but they said their tacos are cooked on the same surface as their breaded shrimp so it is less safe.

When I asked them to be careful for an allergy, they were very confused and wouldn’t give their kitchen staff any specific instruction. But I got the salmon salad and didn’t get sick. Their salmon was incredible.

I had a really good experience here. The guy who took my order at the counter was very knowledgeable about Celiac. They had plenty of items to choose from. I had the salmon tacos with a side of red beans and rice. The tacos were good but if I go back I will definitely just get a bowl of red beans and rice. No reaction at all.

They had three salads on their menu marked gf. That was it.

No dedicated fryer and regular flour on fried fish, so must avoid all fried items. Staff not so sure what does or does not have gluten in it. Maddie’s Place a much safer place if wanting fried fish or chicken tenders.

No GF MENU but lots of items on the menu to choose from that are gluten free! GREAT place to eat. Service and atmosphere are awesome.

No gf menu, but I had the boiled shrimp with veggies. It was a ton of food! Very fun local place.

Only the salads were GF the day we were there. But they were tasty.
