Only the salads were GF the day we were there. But they were tasty.

This place has a cozy diner feel. Their tacos and salads are gluten free, but they said their tacos are cooked on the same surface as their breaded shrimp so it is less safe.

When I asked them to be careful for an allergy, they were very confused and wouldn’t give their kitchen staff any specific instruction. But I got the salmon salad and didn’t get sick. Their salmon was incredible.

I had a really good experience here. The guy who took my order at the counter was very knowledgeable about Celiac. They had plenty of items to choose from. I had the salmon tacos with a side of red beans and rice. The tacos were good but if I go back I will definitely just get a bowl of red beans and rice. No reaction at all.

There is a "gluten friendly" menu, but the kitchen is shared and they cannot guarantee there won't be cross contact. The menu includes salads and grilled fish and shrimp. The grilled plates come with red beans and rice, which has beer - you can substitute a different side, but they aren't listed on the gluten friendly menu. The cashier tried to be helpful but clearly was not familiar with celiac or wheat allergy.

I got the grilled shrimp kebob and the new potatoes, which came dressed in butter and maybe some other stuff. I suspect there may have either been gluten in the potatoes or cross contamination.
