I have eaten here several times with no major problems. They have gluten free bread. I did feel a little iffy one time because it looked like they might’ve put a bun on my plate then removed it. It depends on the understanding of the wait staff you encounter. There are lots of options. Smoked wings, and street corn are warmed in the contaminated fryer. The Brunswick stew is really good. Owners say the meats are gluten free except sausage because it’s warmed in fryer. Owner said all bbq sauces were gluten free.

We visited last summer and were told the meats were gluten free but nothing was marked on the menu. Went again today for dinner and they now have items marked on the menu, but even the fried items that are marked “gf” are fried in a shared fryer. None of the meats are marked gf and our waitress said they’re supposed to tell people that they are NOT gluten free due to cross contamination in the kitchen. Ended up getting the veggie platter that consisted of four vegetable sides. The sides were okay but definitely not what I was looking for at a BBQ restaurant.

Not safe for celiac. I have repeatedly asked for there to be NO BREAD under my meat. They continue to screw it up. Tonight’s takeout order was a waste of money. The girl who handed me my order told me they were out of bread and that she’d checked my order. I should have checked myself before driving home.

There’s gluten free bread, but the folks here do not understand cross contamination at all. Plus, if you have other sensitivities, good luck getting a list of ingredients for sauces or the gf roll. The waitress couldn’t even tell me the brand so I could look it up.

Skipped the roll and got sliced brisket.

Got sick anyway.
