Fortina is always a bit of an arduous gluten-free experience. The wait staff is reluctant to ask the kitchen about ingredients, and options are limited. They generally refuse to make any pasta dish gluten free other than plan GF rigatoni with red sauce. It's otherwise a nice restaurant, with good drinks, but sort of miserable for gluten free unless you get really excited about buttered or red sauce rigatoni.

I have eaten here twice now and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I have not gotten sick either time. I ate the pastina with the truffle sauce and the pasachutto which were both delicious.

Ate at the location in rye and had an amazing experience. Gluten free pasta dishes were 100% safe and so delicious. Will be going back!

For a restaurant without a GF menu, pretty outstanding experience. The manager refused to make a GF pizza because it was cooked in the same oven but offered a totally safe pasta dish instead. Many dishes are naturally GF and they are super careful.

I've been here twice now and they blew me away this last time. I was out for a friend's birthday and they took care of me so well. The waitress was so diligent and made sure my food was safe. One of the chefs came out and talked to me. He didn't want to make the baked ziti gluten free as it shared an oven with other gluten filled things so he made a separate pasta dish for me. The gluten free pasta was delicious. I had a bib salad and the cauliflower without the sauce. While giving a round of a type of shot to the table they made sure it was with corn based vodka so I could partake. Super accommodating. I was not expecting this as they don't have a gluten free menu.
