One of my favorite GF spots in Amsterdam! Love the ramen, the options, the atmosphere and how knowledgeable the staff is. Definitely give it a try, but go early as it gets very busy

Great choices of ramen and side dishes, the waiters are really friendly and knowledgeable about celiac disease, they also have a gluten free menu, ask for it;) tasty and safe!

Had a separate GF menu with a somewhat reduced set of options. Ramen was tasty and the right size for a full meal. Would not call it decadent (heavy on the fat and sodium), but it was solid ramen. Would definitely return. You must sign your name on a list in the vestibule. Don’t wait in the line for signing your name. Sign it and then get in line.

Dedicated gluten-free menu with options for miso-based ramen but no meat options as toppings (they substitute tofu instead).

Sat next to the kitchen and watched them make the gluten-free ramen and they kept the rice noodles separate/elevated while cooking the other noodles as well. Feel good about their precautions when it comes to gluten-free preparation.

They had a good understanding of coeliac and the food was lovely. There were separate gluten free toppings as the meat and eggs are marinated in soy sauce

Delicious gluten free ramen! They have a separate gluten free menu and were careful to ensure the meal was made properly. They actually put a glutened topping on my ramen, noticed before they even brought it to me, and was so apologetic that my food was delayed because they were remaking it from scratch. No reaction, would definitely recommend.

Because off all the positve reviews we went to this restaurant. The waitress told us that the rice ramen (GV version) goes in the same wather as the regular ramen (with Gluten). So it's a 100% NO GO for people with gluten intolleration (coeliakie).

So NO measures taken to prevent cross-contermination!!!

Gluten free menu is available. They use rice noodles and gluten free soy sauce. Sadly only the Tofu Ramen is possible because the meat is already prepared with 'normal' soy sauce.

So Fou Fow Udon doesn’t have any GF options BUT their sister restaurant Fou Fow Ramen does (located on the corner across the canal bridge)!! The staff there was super knowledgeable and I could have most of the ramen broths (no veggie broth) with tofu (no meats- all cooked in soy sauce). Highly recommend for a ramen craving or for going out with friends!
