Fox's Pizza Downtown

Edit: Truly disappointed. We called today to order pizzas. Never had an issue. Started my regular order with the request re: Celiac Disease and was told it was "not worth it" for him to "clean the area" to prepare safe pizzas and he "didn't want to be sued." He was incredibly rude about it and made it clear he didn't care. When I mentioned they'd always served us before, he disclosed he was the owner. So I guess this place is no longer Celiac safe. So few restaurants that are safe, this hit hard.

We live in Brunswick. My daughter has Celiac Disease, and this is our go to place. We have never had a glutening here. They have been knowledgeable and very helpful, always keeping our daughter safe. And the pizza, both GF and non GF, is delicious!

When I asked for a gf menu, I was told I could do a gf crust. The server asked if I had celiac and so told her no but I have a gluten allergy. Not sure why that matters…gf should be gf and all precautions should be taken for everyone that requests it. My pizza came out without the basil so my server took it back and came right back with it and said the chef added the basil for me. I don’t think he did a glove change and cross-contaminated my food because within 30 minutes I was having a gluten reaction.

Sensitive celiac: I’m a regular here and I’ve never had a reaction. They have a gluten free crust unlike any I’ve ever had!! The best crust for hundreds of miles.

They have a medium crust that feeds 2 people. Great price for quantity.

Pizza is wonderful. It's a purchase crust, small only, but crispy and not chewy as other restaurants. Also has a very good pasta baked dish with lots of cheese. 🤗 love cheese. Prices are not too bad compared to other restaurants. Would definitely return.
