I was super impressed that a manager came over to discuss my GF options. On her advice I ordered the lamb, and I asked the server to flag my meal as a gluten allergy since the regular meal is coated in bread crumbs. The meal came with the bread crumbs after all of that, and I didn't notice until after 3 bites. Another manager came to says she's sorry for the incident, but they have no idea. I formally give up eating GF around Pawleys Island.

I had an excellent experience. When I asked my server about gluten free options, he said he'd have the chef come out to speak with me. He did and was so helpful and reassuring. My dinner (a special that night with scallops and risotto) was excellent. I felt my needs were taken very seriously. I rate this place a 12 out of 10!

Was able to find a few things I could order from the menu. The waitress was not very friendly about it though and when I asked about a few items she simply read me the description of it from the menu and said “see, there’s no flour.” I asked her to make sure the chef knew I was celiac and she acted very annoyed. The creme brûlée for dessert was great. I have gone here another time and had a better experience with another waitress who was not knowledgeable but was at least friendly and concerned. Will continue to return because I did not get sick and atmosphere is great.
My waitress was very friendly and helpful. She wasn’t sure if a specific item on the menu was gluten free but promptly went to the kitchen to ask the chef. The food was delicious and I had no problem. Would definitely recommend.

Staff was very friendly and understanding of my allergy and the restaurant can make almost any dish in a gluten free way. My plate accidentally came out with a gluten item, but the waiter noticed and immediately took it off. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic, high end restaurant that is an institution in the Pawleys Island area. They make everything to order and will work with you on most dishes to make it gluten free. I’m celiac and have never gotten sick here. I prefer eating in the indoors area instead of outback. It’s a pricey establishment, but you'll get a great meal.

I had cocktail shrimp, sauce was gluten free, and a caprese salad. Pricey for what I got. Staff not that knowledgeable about GF but very accommodating. Everyone else enjoyed their food. By a family members mistake, our reservation was for the Outback section, which is outside and would be nice on a cool evening, but was sweltering on a 90 degree day. So plan accordingly.
