Very sadly this restaurant is no more! It is being converted to another establishment 😢

Based on reviews, I chose to try Valley Cafe. The person working had no idea about anything. Said he could use a gf bun but didn't know about fries. The other person working didn't know either. I did not eat here. Not willing to get sick.

Came here a few weeks ago. Checked it out based on review viacthis forum. The GF buns are great, I think they are Udis brand. And their GF fries are cooked in a separate fryer. The wait staff are super nice and know what they are doing. We ate here a couple times. Burgers are really good.

Stop in on a road trip and I was not disappointed! I had the Dude Burger on a GF bun with sweet potato fries in a dedicated fryer. My friend got regular fries and they made hers in the dedicated fryer and plated them separately from her burger so we could share. The waitress was super sweet and attentive. We sat outside and enjoyed this amazing meal overlooking this scenic Bavarian village. Loved it! I’m sensitive celiac and have had no reaction.

We came based on the reviews on this app. I am very sensitive,and rarely go out, as the risk is so high for me. As soon as my husband said “my wife has Celiac” the person taking our order let us know they had a separate grill, kitchen space, and fryer. She stated she has worked there five years and never had any complaints. My husband ordered GF as well, for my sake. She said “oh cool we can bring them out together” that made me feel even more comfortable! GF or not- the burgers were phenomenal. The Barn Beach is the best burger I’ve had in so long and it was more than a joy to feel normal at a restaurant. I had zero issues. We will make trips to Leavenworth just to eat here!

Friendly allergy conscious staff. Ate here twice while we were in town. They make their own dressings. The Thousand Island they make is also dairy free. Tasty!

I’m newly diagnosed and have been very nervous with regard to eating out. On vacation with my family, I decided to try Valley Cafe based on the good reviews. I had the classic burger without the special sauce and gf fries. Everything was delicious! The server was conscientious and kind. It was wonderful to feel “normal” again.

The burgers on gf buns were delicious. Two celiacs in the family and we were fine after eating their burgers and fries. Go try it!

We had the Hawaiian and Beach burger. Delicious and fresh. So warm on a cold day. ! Fries were fresh and had crunchy outer shell. They had fry sauce. Oh fryer is dedicated. Fries gf. Solid service. My daughter has celiac and she loved it !

Its name is changed to Valley Cafe. I have celiac disease so I was worried but I ate there for dinner yesterday and I have not gotten sick yet which is a good sign for me. I definitely recommend this restaurant for other celiacs if they come visit Leavenworth! I agree with all the reviews.

The Mon Ami Burger was the best!! Ask for a side of spicy Mayo to add to it if you like spice. They’re fries are made in a dedicated fryer and all sauces are GF. Definitely recommend.

Had the Mon Ami burger (on a Udi's hamburger bun) with sweet potato fries. First time in a long time I was able to eat sweet potato fries as the cafe has a dedicated fryer! Thankful the staff was VERY informed of GF needs and had a dedicated fryer for the fries!

The staff was knowledgeable, chef came out to let me know that all sauces are homemade and GF, and that they have a dedicated GF fryer. The GF bun was fine, about what you'd expect. Everything else was fantastic!

SO. GOOD. We always stop by if we’re in the area. They have a clear space and are very careful about contamination. My favorite part of my orders is the sweet potato fries. They are to die for. I mean literally. They’re in their own fryer. The service was great! The order taker was able to answer all my questions and was friendly/courteous.

Dedicated fryer with yummy sweet potato fries, gluten-free bun and perfect hamburger. Staff understands Celiac and cross contamination. I only wish they had Ghostfish gluten-free beer like their website said. I had the cider which was good but would’ve preferred a gf beer.

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant! Knowledgeable about gluten free needs and super friendly to boot! Any day we can get French fries, a GF bun and fried chicken in a yummy concoction is a great day for someone with Celiac!

Awesome spot. Very nice staff and delicious burgers. I got the dude burger with sweet potato fries. Lots of sauce options with some spicy and garlic flavors. Perfect lunch spot, quick and easy.

Love that they have a dedicated fryer and gluten free buns! Reviews in the app said that they have the dedicated fryer but it's not advertised on the menu anywhere so I asked when we ordered and sure enough!

so good!! the buns used are udis so they’re normal and know they will be good. the worker was very nice about it and assured us there would be safe, GF options. a little expensive but worth it for a good burger and fries. the sauce is so good too!!!

The following review is from my 9 year old daughter. She has Celiac Disease. I love the food it was delicious and I felt normal and not like I have Celiac and they had a dedicated fryer for french fries they also have gluten free buns they are so nice I want to come back every day or night it is amazing the staff are amazingly nice and are greatly trained and I enjoyed the experience so much.

This place has THE BEST burgers, great customer service and with a dedicated gluten free fryer amazing fries as well. They offer Udis GF Buns or of course lettuce wrapped. Tables are a bit small inside but when it’s 30° outside you’ll take what you can get. Can’t wait to eat there again in the spring/summer.

Being a Celiac, I was a little nervous about eating out. The cook talked with me explaining they have grass-fed GF beef, cooked on a GF grill, with a pretty good GF bun. They also have a dedicated GF fryer for the fries and sweet potato fries (amazing). He said the chicken is also GF, and the coating for the fried chicken is cornmeal. All the sauces, with the exception of the Asian dressing, is GF. Even the hard apple cider was GF. No problems with the food! I was so happy to find a place here that I could eat at.

This is a great place for gf options!! The staff was very knowledgeable and informed me the majority of their menu can be gf, with just a few exceptions. They allowed me to build my own burger using items from both their burger and sandwich options. The fried chicken sandwich is coated in cornmeal and was delicious! So nice to not have to just get a burger. AND they DO have a dedicated fryer and sweet potato fries!! They even took the extra step of making my friends’ fries in the dedicated fryer so I could swipe some of theirs if I wanted. Nice touch!!

can not recommend enough!! As a highly-sensitive celiac I was impressed with their attention to cross-contamintion, variety of tasty options, and the dedicated fryer! Service could not be friendlier and more considerate of our needs. Kids love the food and sitting on the front porch with the cooling misters and beautiful views. It is the highlight of our trips in this area. One of our favorite restaurants anywhere.
