I ordered the "GF" version of their "Beyond Cheeseburger" - on lettuce with salad and no bun.

I identified to our server that I could not handle gluten in any amount. They did not promise any actions to prevent criss-contamination. They did warn me that cross contamination was possible.

As the restaurant was quiet and we had arrived early for lunch I erroneously thought the risk of contamination would be low. What could go wrong with a Beyond Meat burger patty with lettuce & salad?

I was surprised at my major celiac reaction to the meal. Major digestive grief for many days, unable to properly process food for well over a week.

Was cross-contamination significant on the grill (as they serve non-GF grain burgers) or was the salad dressing contaminated? I don't know.

I will never go back there.

They make no effort to accommodate allergies. It is not safe for celiacs. I was told that I could « eat at my own risk » in a very hostile manner. The entire chain seems to share this aversion at accommodating allergies. It’s a shame. They need to get with the times.

I'm a super sensitive celiac and have eat here all the time with no issues. That said, after seeing all these reports of CC, I basically strategically stick to things that wouldn't come into contact with their grills (usually just soups, smoothies, salads). With this in mind I'd never gotten sick, though the safe options, therefore, are pretty limited. But what I do get is always delicious! Recently they've also started portioning their hot sauce in separate ramekins so it's safe (as opposed to the communal ones that would be shared between tables previously).

If you have celiac disease, DO NOT EAT HERE! I got soooooo sick!!! I went with a friend and ended up having to go home after just a few bites of my meal.

Came here with a friend but decided not to eat anything. Their menu specifically says they can’t guarantee CC because all food will be prepared in the same environment.

I love Fresh, but cannot recommend them for people with Celiac. Despite the gluten free menu, they are not careful about cross contamination. My husband has reacted all three times he ate there. It's unfortunate, because they are such a delicious, healthy restaurant.

This place was great! Separate GF menu, although there was a scary disclaimer about not guaranteeing no cross contamination. Food was delicious, although because of contamination we only got items that were lower risk. No reaction though.

I love Fresh. It's vegan and vegetarian friendly, healthy, mainly gluten free and delicious!!!

Nice varied GF menu. Very tasty fresh bowls and naked burritos.

Menu listed gluten free options however some of the options listed as gluten free were not safe for celiacs. For example shared fryers. Very disappointing

The waiter asked for allergies and I saw it was on the receipt later.

The menu has 'glutenfree friendly' options, clearly stating there could be cross contamination. The bowl I picked (goddess) didn't have any fried elements and was delicious.

The server was very knowledgeable and helped point out which items were safe. She said anything that goes in the fryer or on the grill could have cross contamination, but there are several salads and bowls that are made without anything fried or grilled. I was also offered substitutions for most of the items to make them celiac safe.

Not safe for celiacs or people with high sensitivity!!!! We ordered takeout and specified a gluten allergy. Upon receiving the food, I noticed items that should have been removed to comply with the allergy request. When we called, the restaurant claimed they 'didn't see' the allergy request, despite it being in all caps three times on the receipt they stapled to the bag. They didn't offer to replace the meal or provide a refund, taking zero accountability and attempting to shift blame on me for choosing takeout over dining in. Despite assuring the fries were safe, I had a flare after eating them because they weren't gluten-free as claimed.
