We have gone here twice so far and will definitely be back. My son loves the classic Friedman burger with the fries. I really loved the GF fried chicken and cheddar waffle on the weekend brunch menu. Well, at least what I got to taste of it before my child stole it and scarfed it down! :)

Tomato soup is excellent, especially if you tear up some of their gluten free toast and drown the chunks in there. Sweet potato fries are very good, regular fries are about average, I don't taste the rosemary. Hot cider is delicious. My fiancee enjoyed the chili. I'd have the Steadfast beer again. One order of fries is good for two people.

Amazing food and great service! We ate here two days in a row on a recent trip to NYC because it was so good. Tons of GF options on the menu. Highly recommend burgers and the tomato soup. Bonus points for listing beers as "gluten free" or "gluten free (5 parts per million)" - many restaurants don't understand or list this detailed amount of info, but it's important to people with high sensitivities. Wish they would open a restaurant in Denver. :)

Loved Friedman's. The staff knew exactly what gluten was and my food to go came with a red gluten free sticker on the sandwhich wrapping to reassure me it was gluten free. Tons of options to choose from and right near Penn Station which was perfect.

Here is my short and sweet review of Friedman's...awesome! The tomato soup was excellent, bacon lettuce avocado and turkey on gf bread crunchy and the size of a normal sandwich!! The beer delicious and the apple die for! The place is super rustic and homie feeling with a great friendly staff! Keep up the great work! I'll be back!

I got off the Boston to NYC bus starving and used the app to find this place. So many GF choices. I had the Adobo Salad and a side of fries both of which were great. I overheard the guy next to be order the burger with the GF bun and it looked wonderful. I will be stopping here for lunch on my way back

We haven't ordered yet but I'm beside myself. Everyone has been so helpful and knowledgeable! The restaurant is cool, upscale, geared towards the health conscious. I had an awesome soy latte while waiting for our table. Once seated, I order a brisket burger and the rosemary fries for lunch. Thr meal was delicious! I will be back next time I'm in the city. What a wonderful experience!

Saw this on FMGF and it totally delivered. Cool interior, extremely courteous and knowledgeable staff. Got the herbed fries which were delicious, friend got the tomato soup for an app and said it was great. I added chicken to the GF buccatelli with mushrooms dish and it was amazing. Sauce was phenomenal. Friend got the special of the day, Pot Pie and enjoyed it as well. Great wine list and I had a GF Belgium beer I never had before..I lied, I had 2.

They are very conscious of gluten allergies. They have an entire sheet of ingredients. Very big selection of gluten free products. They serve UDIs bread which I have never really been a fan of. I actually ended up taking off the top of the bun because the burger was just so delicious the bun was ruining it for me. Got the lamb burger medium rare, and while pricey at $20, it was some of the best tasting patty I've ever had. They've got separate fryers as well as separate plates indicating a gluten free dish. Overall I felt very safe here.
