Fuller's Burger Shack

Tried it based on reviews and was disappointed. We sat at the counter with a clear view into the kitchen. There are no protocols in place to manage cross contamination. The single cook touched gluten and free buns interchangeably. All burgers were assembled on the same countertop. Sauces were spread on gluten buns using the same spatula. Yes, the fries were gluten free, BUT, half the time they were scooped into serving baskets by the same hand that had just handled gluten buns. Would not recommend for celiac.

Fryer is celiac friendly. The only thing they use in the fryer is French fries and tater tots. They can make any burger a lettuce wrap. When I want a burger in Portland it’s the first place I think about going to.

Great tasty burger. Big on fresh lettuce, and tomato with sweet special sauce. My wife is gluten intolerant, and gf buns can be hit or miss. We asked if they grilled the bu s, bc gf buns need heat to not crumble like. They do not grill because they grill non-gf buns their as well. They microwave the gf buns. My wife was skeptical but decided to try it based on precious reviews and the server mentioned no one has had concerns. Conclusion, loved the burgers at Fullers gf and non-gf 🍔.

My go to place for burgers and fries (or tots!). Always fresh produce and gluten free buns! They change gloves when asked. I have never had a bad burger there. Nor have I ever had any kind of reaction.

Only thing safe for celiac is the fries/tots. Nothing else in the fryer but make sure fresh gloves. Burgers are made on a shared cooktop so even tho the buns can be GF the burger is cooked on the same surface a gluten bun is toasted. Condiments are also shared in a tight space., after speaking with the manager and seeing the space I cancelled my burger order and just had some tots.

Excellent burger joint. I had spent the day shopping and popped in by happenstance. The GF bun didn’t completely crumble so that’s a plus! The tots were INCREDIBLE. Probably some of the best tator tots I’ve ever had! 10/10 recommend this lil spot. Oh and their ranch is homemade and amazing!!

Great burger! Tasted fresh and really good pickles. I also got fries since that’s the only thing they fry. It’s not written anywhere that they have gf buns but they do!

I ordered a fuller burger with a gluten free bun and fries. I asked about the special sauce and the employee said it is mayonnaise based. The fries are made in a fryer where only fries are cooked. Also the bun wasn't grilled. I liked the food a lot.
