The red pepper crab bisque was incredible!! Very tasty. Our waiter was knowledgeable about gf, and knew to warn us about a cider that was aged in a bourbon cask. Stew and Shepard’s pie were not gf, but their burgers were (minus the bun). Burgers were tasty but small and it was a bit unfulfilling. Fries are in a shared fried and subbing a salad was $3 more.

Nearly everything has gluten, no dedicated frier. Will adapt menu items as able.
Gravy not GF and most entrees include. They did note and assure us they would be cautious for cross contamination.
Husband was able to get 5 shrimp and mashed potato’s in a sauce…for 30 dollars.
Other options were grilled sandwich filling options. Like chicken or a hamburger patty. Not many options.

Cute place but not a ton of options. I had a salad and it was good.

While there isn't a GF menu, the waitstaff took the time to cover every item on the menu that was or could be made GF. They also have several hard ciders available.

No gluten specific menu, no gluten-free items on the regular menu, no dedicated fryer. They were able to make my daughter a grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes, but it certainly wasn't ideal.

I’ve had the mussels and clams without any issue. The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free eating and I am always impressed with their attentiveness to my orders. The mashed potatoes are to die for.
We came here, because there was a lot of ratings, but I couldn’t have been more disappointed. Our unknowledgeable server went back to the kitchen several times to check on GF ingredients, and only came back with bad news. In the end I had a steak and potatoes. The food was good, but I could’ve had a steak and potato anywhere. I really wanted Irish food.
No gf menu but staff was very knowledgeable abt what menu options are safe.
Yes
Servers are knowledgeable, just ask and they know about celiac, and can point you to what you can order. I come here regularly with my family and have never had a problem.
Yes
Went for dinner. Very disappointed. They didn’t have a gluten free menu, as they claim they do. I stressed the importance of eating GF. When I am finishing my salmon with mashed potatoes, there was a hunk of beer bread. 😒😒😡🥵

There is NOT a GF menu, however ask what can be made GF. Er had the whisky chicken with no whisky bourbon sauce or champ (dunno what that is). I Nima sensor tested the garlic sauce, chicken and potaotes...all came back with a smiley face!
Yes
No more GF menu, very helpful with GF options however.
No longer has a gluten free menu. Accommodated our sensitivity but not confident celiac would be okay. Very limited menu.
This restaurant has a separate gluten-free menu. With that said, the menu advises you to tell the server about any gluten sensitivities when ordering any fried items. Turns out they do not have a dedicated fryer for GF items. It’s confusing to see fried foods listed on the GF menu if there is no dedicated fryer.
I enjoyed the whiskey chicken with kale and potatoes. Delish and so happy to have found a restaurant with several GF choices when traveling to a town with few GF dining options.
Yes
Separate gluten free menu for dinner. I enjoyed a lovely salmon dish with a quinoa salad! Fantastic! I would definitely come here again.
Very limited GF menu, for celiacs. No GF bread or buns. No dedicated fryer.. More options available after 5pm. I ate a grilled chicken Caesar salad, which was very good.
Yes
Dinner menu has several nice gluten free options. Lunch and snack menus are not as accommodating, but they were kind to check the kitchen and bring me a dinner an hour early. It was delicious and safe. Spouse loved his sandwich and well-kept Guinness. Will definitely make this a regular part of Gettysburg visits!
4 stars due to the limited GF menu, but the staff is knowledgeable and took great care to prepare my meal. I did not get sick. Fryer is not safe.
Yes
Great food! Not much to choose from if you do not like fish. Read an earlier review about stuff being fried. They have a gluten free menu that says in big letters at the top that items are fried in the same fryer as everything else.
Yes
Nice to be able to have something on tap! Had a Magner's Cider and the Irish Whiskey burger. Very very good!
Really friendly, good food. Had Irish nachos and crab/red pepper soup off the GF menu.
Yes
I'm also allergic to fish so not much on the menu for me but the chicken salad was good.
The waiter was very knowledgable and even caught the fact the kitchen had thrown the potatoes in the fryer (not a GF fryer). We LOVED the cider on tap - such a treat.
The food is ok in quality, but the cider was worth it. We felt comfortable because of the waiter's understanding of GF needs. Separate GF menu is clear that fryer is not GF, though it lists fried foods.
Separate menu for gluten free people and the staff was knowledgeable and very accommodating. Menu even listed which beers were ok! I got the steak with delicious sauce and veggies. Recommended for sure.
Extremely welcoming and friendly place. Gluten free menu and knowledgable staff.
Yes
This irish pub has a gluten free menu but does not have a separate fryer so you are pretty limited if you have celiac. I stayed with something safe and had a delicious salmon, crab salad and didn't get sick. Great place to go with a mixed crowd.
