Review of Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center

Mixed reviews.

The good: I stayed here for a conference and the conference alerted the catering staff of my Celiac needs. I followed up and called catering ahead of my stay and spoke to Megan. She assured me of safe prep/food. All my meals were set aside in the kitchen, labeled and safe. Megan even checked in with me to see how things were. Very impressed with catering staff, felt safe, and did not get sick.

The bad: Outside of catering this resort has *very* limited and expensive gf options. Like I ended up with a tiny salad and cup of soup for dinner one night at $37! The resort is in the middle of nowhere, so if you do not have a vehicle you are stuck here with no options, or crazy expensive steak and salad from the steak place. For what they charge to stay here, Gaylord could do so much better for gf options at an affordable cost.
