Food was great. The waitress saw our son with the gf menu and asked before she set down the bread basket which we refused. Great spot for our celiac kid.

Had a wonderful experience. Beautiful view of the ocean. Staff was knowledgeable and the food was delicious. The blackened ahi tuna is super good. Would definitely eat here again. Didn't get sick.

Hands down best and safest experience on the coast. Staff was SUPER knowledgeable. When they brought me my food they said the chef acknowledged cross-contamination protocols were followed. 10 out of 10. We ended up eating here every night after discovering it. The food was SO good.

Our server was very comfortable answering my questions and assuring me about the precautions that the kitchen crew and business owners take to prevent gluten cross contamination. I had a perfect steak, steamed veggies, and white rice with ZERO issues. If you are a person with Celiac on the Oregon Coast, you can absolutely eat here.

The dessert and cocktails were excellent. The entrees…. Not so much. My bf and I ordered filet mignon and salmon. It was probably the worst salmon I’ve ever had. I’m used to restaurants either serving blackened salmon or at least a flavorful salmon with spices, a glaze, or some type of sauce. This was very plain. The mashed potatoes were really good. The veggies were steamed and again not very flavorful. That being said, I did feel safe eating here. I’d suggest trying something other than the salmon. My bf said the steak was only ok and definitely not worth the price.

Fantastic! I called and the hostess transferred me to the head chef. He ensured me that although it is not a GF kitchen, they take cross contamination seriously. I ordered the filet, mashed potatoes, and veggies. It was delicious! I’d definitely order again!!

I ate here twice - both times delivered to my room at the Hallmark. Halibut with veggies and mashed potatoes was really awesome. I was surprised by the size and deliciousness of the teriyaki chicken bowl. I was not glutened and ate very well.

The had a gluten free menu. I ordered the eggs and hash browns with gluten free toast. Waitress asked if cross contamination was an issue. I told her yes. I still got very sick. I gave two stars instead one because at least they are trying.

Gf menu was available, I ordered the burger with gf bun. It was ok, but the service was horrible.

Nima tested safe (NY Steak and garlic mashed potatoes). This place is amazing and the safest I’ve felt eating out. I’ve been here twice, and both times the staff has been so friendly and aware of issues regarding food handling and cross contamination. They have an extensive gf menu and delicious food!

Menu selection & view were great. I am a celiac & I had a pretty severe reaction after eating here. I am assuming the kitchen wasn't as careful as needed due to how busy they were. I normally avoid eating anywhere when it's busy...I should have known better. If you are sensitive you might want to skip Georgie's.

There was a long wait so we ordered food to go and ate at the beach. GF bun for kids hamburger was great. They are very aware of celiac. They use a shared fryer but tell you to sub fruit for fries if celiac. Good selection. for adults for GF.

Great breakfast menu!! Servers happy to accommodate and welcomed questions. There was an error on the menu, though - toast: "Gluten Free (white or wheat)" .....yikes! I brought it to their attention and the manager thanked me. Hopefully they fix that silly error! But food was delicious and we would visit again!

Ask for the gluten free menu and you'll have a few good dinner options. The GF garlic prawn appetizer was great and the flatiron steak was cooked to perfection. The views from Georgie's dining room are breathtaking. I'd say the food is a tad overpriced, but it's a great GF option in Newport.

They have a gluten free menu, just need to ask. I had the seafood sampler, baked potato, and veggies. It was very delicious! They also have a flourless chocolate cake I wish I had room for! Our waiter was great too! Very funny! I would definitely come back!

Georgie's has an incredible view with decent food. There is a fair amount of gluten-free options, but I think there are some cross contamination issues. I am Celiac and had a mild reaction to the food, but those that are sensitive should be OK. Service was OK at best, but waitress smelled horribly like cigarette smoke.
