Girasole

I was assured that my GF pasta would be prepared separately and it was great!! I had the GF fusilli with tomato cream sauce (definitely recommend) I also had the salad and greens and beans. I felt comfortable that they understood, I also went at lunchtime when they are less crowded, therefore more likely to be able to accommodate!! :)

I went there for dinner and told the staff I had celiac disease and that I cannot have any cross contamination. I ordered the gluten free pasta dish with lobster in a white cream sauce. It came out with a gnocchi on top that I guess got mixed in during cooking. They apologized and made me a new dish however I was nervous and felt uncomfortable eating dinner after that.

Got the Girasole salad without gorgonzola. I was nervous to order anything else given previous reviews regarding cross contamination. I did not get sick eating only the salad, and I am a highly sensitive celiac.

I am unfortunately in the same boat as MJ. My server was knowledgeable and used to work in the kitchen but I felt glutened about 2 hours after we left. They definitely cater to GF people but perhaps aren't equipped for Celiacs. I got the grouper entree and while it was probably safe ingredient-wise, I believe CC was the issue.

Ate at this location for lunch on August 30, 2018.

Server was very gluten allergy knowledgeable. She helped me pick a salmon and asparagus meal that substituted a piece of polenta for bread. It was delicious. Unfortunately, I got sick (glutened) by the car ride home. I am pretty sure that everything was actually gluten-free as the server stated, but that I became sick from kitchen cross-contamination.

I had the polenta dish. it is amazing. staff were knowledgeable and kitchen is careful with preparation. I felt confident eating there and the food is delicious!

GF pasta was very good. Tiny place. Great food. Great atmosphere.
