I ordered a burger for dinner thinking it would be pretty safe. Either the waiter wasn’t familiar with celiac or he was new. I asked for my burger to be cooked in it’s own pan when I found out they toast the gluten buns on the flat top. I didn’t feel confident that he would know how to share my request with the cook based on how he responded, so I found a manager and she took care of things for me. I got a burned patty on a plate with 2 pieces of GF bread. The manager said the cook was afraid to get me sick (which I appreciate) but it didn’t look too appetizing. I asked for lettuce, tomato, onion and ketchup that no one could have stuck a knife into and slathered on their gluten burger. She said they serve ketchup in a cup. 👍 I had a salad instead of fries and asked for lemon and olive oil. The waiter didn’t think they had that, but they had balsamic vinegar, so that’s what I had. The menu says GF fries, but when I asked the waiter if the fryer was dedicated he said it wasn’t. I really appreciate the manager helping, but it wasn’t a great experience or meal for me. So, we won’t be going back except for the yummy smoothies. Their smoothies are marked GF on a board. The ones we had were delicious and refreshing.
