Had a good experience at North Raleigh location with knowledgeable staff, assumed the same at this location. Unfortunately, had poor service overall and had to send back quesadillas after asking for corn tortillas but receiving flour. Also asked for corn tortillas tacos for daughter (gluten sensitive) but she immediately started feeling ill after starting to eat so we suspect they delivered flour. Wife (celiac) ordered tacos and made it out okay. We'll deal with extra drive time to other location from now on

my favorite place ever, even since before I was gluten free and nothing has changed and they are very knowledgeable and cautious.

I have eaten here many times. If the server doesn't know if a certain item I want is gf, they go check. Chips are in their own fryer. Salsa is excellent and their queso is gf. I get the Mexican flag every time it's amazing. The staff is always very accommodating.

The atmosphere is nice. The food is great. The waiter only understood flour and corn tortilla. So, he asked chef my questions . Unfortunately, I had broken out in my mouth within minutes. It’s not safe for celiac or bad allergy. Really wanted it to work.

Went the other night and they have made changes to their menu so that nearly everything is or can be made GF. I think the only thing that isn’t able to be made GF is one of their desserts. They have changed their marinades to make them all GF, and they now have a dedicated fryer which means fresh, hot chips. Both the server and the manager told us about the changes. They were good with Celiac before but even better now.

Have eaten at this Wake Forest location multiple times in the last few months and they have taken great care in my gf order. The staff can tell you which menu items can be made gf and they have a dedicated fryer to make gf chips.

I was hoping based upon the previous reviews that I would have a good experience. First they do not have a gluten free menu however I was told my server would know what I could order. When I asked about the tortilla chips they said they are gluten free but do have cross contamination. So no chips :-( Then I asked what would be safe but the server didn't seem too knowledgeable. I also had severe bloating afterwards so most likely they did not take any precautions when heating up my corn tortillas (wrap in foil etc to heat) or there was some other cross contamination. Chipotle would have been a much safer (and cheaper) choice!

Every time I've come here they've been so knowledgeable! I usually get a one of the taco options with corn tortillas. They will bring you gluten free corn chips that they set aside at the beginning of the night ( cooked at opening) that are gluten free as well. They don't always have them, but they have every time I've been there.

Love the lead mine road restaurant. Had to try this one since it's closer to home. Just have corn tortillas and ask for GF chips for gaucamole or queso app.
