Review of Good Golly Tamale

Review

My wife and I (celiac, just me) had delicious tamales at GGT. We can’t compliment the food enough.

We did notice that the kitchen may not be entirely gluten-free. The chef informed us that their stock is Better than Bouillon, which generally is not GF. He said that they use this in the black beans. He also said that there is no indication that their fish sauce is gluten-free. Fish sauce tends to contain gluten unless clearly stated otherwise. He checked the bottle and said there was no labeling of GF. We let the restaurant know and hope they will clarify. We note the reviews left by celiacs who did not have significant reactions to the items they ate.
