Symptomatic Celiac

The staff is not familiar with cross contamination. If you have Celiac, this is NOT safe. They offer healthier options for those without Celiac.

The guy taking our order truly needs some personality and some educating! Gluten what??? Just relocated here and was told they had gluten free options. I sent message via FB and was assured they take precautions against cross contamination. (I realize this can’t be guaranteed) My daughter, who has Celiac was sick after eating hamburger on “gluten free” bread. I assume it was cooked on same area as regular bread? I ordered hamburger steak with extra mushrooms (I received 5 sliced mushrooms total). The meat was flavorful and broccoli and sweet potato cubes were good, but a bit salty. Love that this place offers healthier dining options in an area that has very few healthy places to eat.

Stay away if you are GF. If you're just looking for good food, it is probably great, but the staff had very little knowledgeable from my experience and there is tons of cross contamination. Terrible staff service granted it was lunch hour. They served me the wrong dish, took it back, kept the same salad and bowl and added the right toppings but included croutons. Came out wrong the third time but I just ate it and now am super sick. Very bummed. Wanted to love this place because it had a great environment and vibe but sadly they just are not for people with allergies.

The owner met us at the door. When we informed him that one of us had to eat gluten free he pointed out the gluten free items in the case (there is a fresh plate option which includes a protein and two sides). Only the blackened salmon was to be avoided. The jerk salmon, chicken salad, and vegetables were safe. He also mentioned the availability of gluten free bread and gf wraps. I ordered the gf grilled caprese sandwich with chicken salad. My husband ordered the regular sweet pig sandwich. They come with sweet potato chips.

They are a local business with a variety of gluten free items, including gluten-free bread that is fantastic! I've had the caprise sandwich on their GF bread and it was AMAZING! Highly recommended!
