Grateful Head Pizza Oven and Beer Garden

So delicious! I am not sure about the cross contamination situation bc I ordered online & just went in to pick it up. The staff are always so kind & friendly so I’m sure they’d answer whatever questions you had. I got the GF Tree Hugger pizza. For one, I love that their GF pizza comes as a large. I love having leftovers! Also, their crust is DELICIOUS! One of my favorite places in Hot Springs

This restaurant is a real hole in the wall. Sit outside if you must eat here but the service is so slow and the staff is so lacking in knowledge about gluten free you are better off going somewhere else.

After I informed my server that I had a gluten allergy, and received my food, I was informed the only thing offered was the gluten free crust, the toppings were likely not gluten free. I had informed her of my allergy prior, but was still permitted to order a pizza that had no toppings I could eat. I felt very unsafe and will not be returning, there is clearly little knowledge or training for waitstaff around gluten free.

Gf crust was really good. Servers can be hit or miss on knowledge. All the veggies are safe toppings

Judging by the rundown state of this restaurant, I wouldn’t trust your gluten-free pizza to not be cross contaminated with gluten if you have Celiac like me. My advice is to skip it.

None of the meats are gluten free. My server was not knowledgeable and then told me all of the meats are prepared with bread in them. They also do not take precautions to separate the food while preparing. Once I found this out, I just left the establishment. Everyone was nice at the restaurant but it’s not safe!!

I did not try the food because they prepare the pizzas in the same area and cook all the pizzas in the same oven. They’re willing to clean the area but they won’t clean the oven. So not celiac safe :(

The gluten free crust was amazing, as is all the ciders available. Super fun atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommend to anyone.

After waiting at our table for any waitstaff for 25 minutes I went to find a drink menu. After 3 waitstaff walked past me without acknowledging my existence I approached the bar for the drink menu. we left shortly afterwards without trying the pizza which was very disappointing because I had heard such good things about the gf options

Absolute best gluten free pizza I have ever had! We ordered carry out and it was super quick and easy.

Went there about 3 times in the span of a month, was in quite a bit of stomach pain after eating here. I think it is because the pizzas are cooked in the same oven, wouldn’t want to risk getting sick.

We went here because we had seen other reviews of this place. It had a fun laid back attitude, Grateful Dead posters and memorabilia all over the place. We are allergic to wheat gluten and they offer a gluten-free crust, and they assured us that they try to keep it separate, change gloves, and even the server was wearing gloves when she brought them to our table. The crust was good, the sauce a toppings were great! Nice place will visit again next time we're in Hot Springs.

The server and the kitchen staff went to great lengths to make sure my GF pizza was not cross contaminated. It was very good - I almost ate the whole thing!

This is some of the best pizza I've ever had! They have a gluten free crust that is AMAZING and everyone is so friendly. It can be a little cramped upstairs at times but the pizza is definitely worth it.
