I had to ask her to change her gloves twice- kept putting tortillas and pita bread in the oven then grabbing lettuce out for my salad. Got it on the third try.

Just got a smoothie. Not a lot of people yet the lady acted rushed. I calmly told her I’d like the person who made my smoothie use a fresh pair of gloves as I saw all the workers handling bread products. She wrote a message and went to the person making my smoothie and told them to use fresh gloves. Ingredients could have been cross contaminated but I will update that so. I guess.

Your best bet here is a smoothie and a Nature’s Bakery gluten free fig bar.
The protein powders they have are both gluten free.
I had a strawberry banana smoothie with protein and it was really good. Some smoothies taste horrible and this is the good kind I could totally drink every day.
They also have fresh squeezed juices too. Not a ton of options but they do have healthy and safe options.
Also right across from this place is a convenience store and it has a decent selection of gluten free snacks to grab too.

The food here is okay (not the best but not the worst airport food I’ve had). Full disclosure as I make this comment: I’ve been traveling abroad for the better part of a month and it’s possible my English lapsed. Possible. That said, when I asked about whether or he chicken avocado salad was gluten free, the worker told me that the dressing had buttermilk in it so it had dairy. Good to know because I avoid dairy for migraines, but doesn’t answer the question about gluten. Then when I said I have celiac and asked if they could change their gloves, they looked at me like I had two heads. That seems like a pretty standard practice/request especially at an airport (I never want to experience the horrors of being glutened while flying!).
Long story short, the foods okay and some of it is safe. Just know you’ll have to advocate for yourself.
