Had a wonderful gluten free pineapple margarita made with care as well as my food. They were so careful! My food did however test post for gluten on my Nima… the GF corn tortillas are prepackaged and the tortilla chips are shipped in and gluten free. Idk why could have caused it. They do make their on flour tortillas in house though so maybe it’s just in the air. The Nima test was grossly positive. So be careful. Food looks and smells great and the service and atmosphere is great.

Chips are bagged and not in oil. They take good care of gluten allergies here. Queso good. Food great!

The manager was helpful showing me what I could get and explained they could make more GF dishes than what is on the GF guide. It’s helpful seeing the breakdown of which ingredients are GF and which are not, helps me navigate the menu. They beat part of this place is that the Chips and salsa and green sauce are safe! The chips are baked not fried, no cross contamination. I will be back

Yes

I tell them that’s i have Celiac Disease and I’ve never been glutened. I don’t eat the chips and usually get enchiladas with grilled veggies on the side.

Our waitress was EXTREMELY helpful regarding my daughters celiac needs. She gladly got us a gluten free menu, asked to know more about celiac, & genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

Staff was knowledgable of gluten free options. Chicken enchiladas with Amazon sauce is my favorite!

Not a lot of gluten free choices and staff is not very knowledgeable. The food was okay but not that great

Taco Salad was good. Baked chips are just ok. GF menu. I noted celiac friendly however, be sure wait staff understands you have celiac and care is requested for your food preparation.

baked chips and queso was delicious. ordered shrimp and avacado salad it was great as well. nice to see they have a gluten free menu. they dont guarantee that there isnt cross contamination though.

Yum Beef Crispy Beef Tacos are a must and request baked chips.

excellent fajitas. gf corn tortillas are soft and tasty!

They have a separate gluten free menu, just ask you waiter/waitress. They also can make you gluten free baked chips.....yummy yumm yumm!!!!

Gluten-free menu with quite a few options. Knowledgeable staff. We eat here every time we’re in town

I have eaten at Gringos La Porte many times and I have not had any issues. I eat the table chips with green sauce and red sauce, for my entree I get the shrimp avocado southwest salad with no tortilla strips and the margarita vinaigrette dressing. I have also gotten the house margarita .

Good food they do train their servers so most know what’s going on with GF dishes and occasionally one will not. I have eaten here multiple times and have not gotten sick. The chips are safe and so are the red and green salsa. The queso is GF just make sure it doesn’t come out in a corn tortilla shell as that is not GF. There is a Gluten Free menu.
