When I ate an entire GF 9” pizza in 10 minutes …. My family wasn’t sure what to say….. seriously the BEST GF pizza I’ve ever had. Really felt like I was eating real pizza. Thank you Grotto!!!

I was in town visiting and craving pizza. Their gluten free pizza was good but a little on the bland side. The crust had a buttery flavor which I liked. Did not appear to be the standard udis etc used by most places.
Disgusting
Worst GF pizza I’ve ever had it tastes horrible

Our Celiac daughter really enjoyed the gluten free pizza. We spoke wth the manager when we walked in and explained that our daughter is very sensitive to cross-contamination. The staff took extra precautions and made sure the pizza was safe. It was delicious as well!

Great job! Staff was knowledgeable about celiac and the chain has established procedures to deal with cross contamination. The pizza was wonderful and would recommend the rustic plate appetizer (bread on the side)

Probably the best GF pizza, I've had thus far!! I ordered a 9" with pepperoni & red onions. The crust was extremely crisp & crunchy, retaining a soft chewy interior. The pizza crust is pre-packaged & frozen; but considering that, the pizza was excellent. Upon speaking with the waitress, she reassured me, the kitchen takes necessary precautions to to avoid cross contamination. I'd definitely try their GF pizza again, as I've only had it once.
No. No. No. Having only been gluten-free for a little over a year, I have experienced the delicious tasting regular Grotto's pizza. Since then, I was a bit sad realizing that I'd no longer be able to eat at one of my favorite summer pizza places. I was so excited when I heard that they had added a Gluten-free option! That ended as soon as I opened the box. I ordered a 12" pizza. There was an area varying between 2-3" where the crust was untopped, leaving only about 9" of actual topped pizza. The cheese was good but the sauce was non-existent...I believe it had soaked into the crust. The crust was NOT GOOD. It was dry and flavorless. I still ate it but left several pieces in the box to heat up the next day. That was a mistake! I literally spit the biteful out and had to throw out the rest. Again, NOT GOOD!!!
The gluten free pizza is terrible. It tastes like raw dough( even when reheated for over 15 mins), and has an unpleasant aftertaste.
I have to admit I wasThoroughly surprised at how good the gluten-free pizza was

Called to check about the safety of their gluten free pizza. Was told dough was prepared and cooked on the same surface as their regular pizza dough.
— Not at all
I ordered a gluten free pizza and was served one with gluten (by a food runner, not our original waitress). I realized the taste wasn’t right when I got to the crust of my first slice. Went to the bathroom, made myself get sick, and the waitress was very apologetic and made me a GF one to go. Once I knew I was in the clear, the GF crust was really good! But wish there would have been better communication.

The food was amazing, but cross contaminated. I started feeling the nausea accompanied with the contamination 5 minutes after eating. Celiac havers beware. Other than that there was a very limited amount of foods you could eat.

I asked and I was hesitant because they ship the crust in frozen. It was WONDERFUL. I will be back.
