We had an awesome experience here two days ago! My son has Celiac, but he doesn’t react terribly or immediately to cross contamination. They have gluten free Udi’s bread they use for the sandwiches. My kiddo normally hates Udi’s, but he devoured this sandwich! I used Google to search their allergy menu, but it’s not on their main menu. The server understood the importance of cross contamination and said she made sure the guy changed his gloves for my son’s order. We are actually headed back there on our way home from our trip!!
I went here on a Friday afternoon and we sat at the bar top. The restaurant was clean. The waitress and another waiter took time to explain to me the menu and their favorite sandwiches and what was safe. They assured me they would take care with my GF roll and I watched them prepare my sandwich on a special board away from the rest of the prep area. My sandwich was absolutely delicious but more importantly I felt very safe here and I didn’t get sick.

I had a great experience. Staff was very knowledgeable and had a special kit they pull out to make gluten free and safe sandwiches. They used fresh toppings, changed gloves, and toasted it separate and covered. Sandwich was very good.

My favorite sandwich in columbia is GF with Udis bread. Cross contamination is unlikely given the sandwiches are prepared and microwaved on their own plates, so Im sure if you asked them to change their gloves it would be close to 0 cross contamination.

So friendly and helpful!! My 6yo daughter has celiacs therefore looking for Gf options in Georgetown. This deli has Udi’s GF Sub Roll and can heat sandwiches safely. Their chips are also GF! The waitress was knowledgeable and very sweet!
